HBO turning DC Comics' 'Watchmen' into a TV series
Watchmen directed by Zack Snyder made $185 Million worldwide and is considered an underrated movie. This movie was based on the comic book by same name and the writer of the comic book presumed this to an unfilmable story. But Zack Snyder, with his tremendous vision and direction made it into a motion picture.
Recently HBO, the production team behind some master pieces like Game of thrones, True Detective, Trublood, Entourage, confirmed that its in the talks with DC comics to turn The Watchmen into a TV series.
According to Box Office Mojo, the movie was made for $130 million and made only $185 million in the worldwide box office.
It got mixed reviews and were positive for the film. Snyder once said in an interview while the promotion of his movie Sucker Punch, "People will say after watching this movie, that, I didn't like the movie, but then the guy next to him will say, No! you didn't get it"
Thats how all of his movies are, including Man of Steel and Watchmen. Snyder does what he does best. He gives the viewers 'eyesgasm'.
