GREY'S ANATOMY Review | Why you should watch it? (Possible Spoilers)
(Not being stereotypical but male viewers discretion
advised)
To the sarcastic bitches,
yes it is still on. To the medical students, who are watching it from the Day
1, Congratulations on your fellowship! To the guys, go watch Game of
thrones.
Grey's Anatomy is on Its
Season 12, new episode premiered on this Thursday. (Which I am yet to watch).
It is a drama show revolving around the life in a hospital, of the doctors.
It is somewhat like the
other medical drama series with more impractical drama!
The show got all type of
characters from your daily life. Whiners, Wannabes, girls with daddy issues,
girls with mother issues, guy with mother and father issues combined( talk
about cliché), arrogant moody bitches and the normal ones. You need not have to
be from a medical background to watch this show. Yes, It will torture you with
big medical alien words (thanks to that, it helped me score 12 extra marks in
my test (yes, mom watching TV can help you fetch some marks).
The thing you'll like
about this show is the life lessons it will inject in your brain without
letting you know and you'll be like where did that come from? Coming to
unrealistic things, yes tragic thing happens every time!
But seriously, a plane
crash? Massacre in the hospital? Got hit by a bus? (You got to think more,
Shonda) if that wasn't enough, CANCER!
No, these aren't the
stories of the patients coming to the hospital. That's how doctors died in this
show! (Boo-hoo, SPOILERS!) In the season 11, the protagonist love-interest
Derek Shepherd (Mc Dreamy) who was a neurosurgeon in the show, suffers an
automobile accident and becomes brain dead (irony, was that you?)
The show protagonist, Meredith Grey is portrayed very well. She is dark and twisty, emotionally detached yet sensitive. She had been through a lot in this show. Mother, dead. Father, dead. Half-sister dead. Best friend, George, dead. Soul-sister (Cristiana Yang) left. Her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, before she died, which again put her in a bad state (mentally). Husband almost died but was saved and in the last season, finally dead. (Shonda took George RR Martin advice very seriously about killing the main characters to make the show thrilling!) And after all that one can't even think of going through their life. But she gulping all that, stands up again and will help you too with all that monologue during and at end of the show to get on with your life. (How tough it may seem).
Meredith grey coping up
with the new circumstances. (How will the life McMove after McDreamy). There are
tons of widowers out there and it would be inspiring to see the struggles they
get through and how they cope with the harsh, harsh world).
The show portrays the
relationships so very epically. One of my favorites is or was (they broke up in
the last season) Arizona's and Callie's (Calzona). The relationship was so
realistic with an end lesson being that you are not same as the one in the
beginning of the relationship and if after few years you come to that
situation, you shouldn't push it just for the sake of the years you were
together. I, honestly, root for them getting back together. Season 12, is
filled with all the possibilities.
April and Avery kind of having a hard time in
their relationship. Would they be still together at the end of the season?
How will Amelia and Owen
adjust themselves in the new relationship? (One thing I will say here about
Amelia's acting skills, my dog acts better than her.
New interns, what story
they will bring?
There will be lot going
on in Season 12, so better get into the sweat pants, order some pizzas, cancel
all your outings and watch Grey's Anatomy!
And did I mention the
panty-dropping hotties in this show? WHAT? What was that? Say no more, we will watch the show?
