SUPERMAN COMING ON THE FLASH | Smallvile's 'Tom Welling' may appear as Clark/Superman

Hit Series THE FLASH on CW got its wind on the right direction when they originated the perfect comic-friendly superhero who was light on his heels and not dark at the unnecessary situations. THE FLASH season 1 was globally appreciated by fans and season 2 is currently airing.

On the other hand, 10 season long Smallville which ended in 2011 was a very subtle take on Superman's life. We saw him grow up from teen to ad ult and fighting his super-villians, he also had to face life lessons of heartbreak, trauma, family, relationships and everything that made the series and the character more human.Tom Welling may have signed the contract back in 2001 that he would never wear the tights/supersuit which made the finale look like a a cheap CGI- 8bit cartoon but he is rumored to break his vow. Good news for the super-fans, Tom Welling is rumored to reprise his role as Superman/Clark Kent. 

The Flash Season 2 just opened with a different story-line, which can result in multiple cross-overs of the characters which were not possible before. They are going for DC 52 Universes where 52 Earths have an alternate reality where, Clark Kent is Superman and he is in Metropolis and is saving the day.

Flash introduced Jake Garrick ( The first Flash) in the DC universe. If two Flash can appear side by side, then Superman is not that difficult to do.

Moreover, Chloe Sullivan (Alison Mack) may also appear who was Clark's best friend and second most interesting character in the series. Smallville had a bag full of Villians who are ready to mess Flash's world and show his team, that his speed can't beat them. He will need Superman's help.
