JARED LETO'S JOKER REVEALED | News about Suicide Squad | Critics Reaction

"I was just thinking that the joker would probably just say, 'F**k you', and hang up,"

Jared Leto's response to the Empire Magazine was hilarious when he was asked about his role as Joker in Suicide Squad. This is the first time the cast has started to reveal something about their character. His short glimpse in the trailer was an adrenaline shot to us fans who wanted so much of the new joker. 

In comics, Joker is in Suicide Squad but was never tamed by Amanda Waller or caged by her if not for his own interest. Nobody can control joker and nobody can guess what he will do. As much as we want to know the back-story of this character, the anonymity was what made him dangerous at first place, nobody knows his name and anything he was before he put the make-up on.

Jared Leto is a method actor, and method actors don't leave their characters even outside the studio, which made him very annoying for his fellow cast mates. Leto is very familiar with his character, the torment and the crime that goes on his his head would not leave him easily.

Leto explains, "I took a pretty deep dive. but this was a unique opportunity and I couldn't imagine doing it another way. It was fun, playing those psychological games, But at the same time it was very painful, like giving birth out of my p***k hole."

Leto offered some great insight by revealing that he listened to 1920s gospel music while playing The Joker, he said, "I always get the sense that The Joker mat be much older than people think. It's something different. If you don't break rules, you're not going to strike new ground. I think I'll be cooling down for the rest of my life."

Suicide Director David Ayer explained how this Joker is different from the ones before, "The Joker is the third rail of comic book movies. There's a power to that character, and by some freaking miracle, through the incredible things Jared has done and the photography and all the other millions of things that went into it, we've cooked up something transcendent. he's scary."

Now we have to wait and how DC will pull off the curtain over the joker and how they will continue the legendary Heath Ledger's Joker legacy into the new universe where the Joker will be a maniac with not just the Red Scary Smile and lumpy, gloomy hair but also with tattoos and eyeballs with no MERCY.
