ARROW - Why You Can't Miss This
I was personally quite thwarted by the idea of a superhero TV show since the Anime and Cartoons looked and feel more appealing to me in the childhood and moreover it's the DC. Well Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D can somehow lead a campaign under banner of the Marvel Universe but Arrow has crossed the limits of expectations. To a newbie this is a spoiler free review or a suggestion more typically as to why watch the show.
It's addictive. Yes, certainly because the end of each episode opens a new story line. The aura of suspicion and the series of events doesn't feel like they are lingered on. Story has a continuous flow, and introduction of new character in each episode and then the story behind that character is again opening the doors of Pandora.Technically the magic of the Arrow is himself the legacy of Arrow of the comic books, a philanthropist turned mercenary. The perks of having an alter-ego and a revolving slide of relationships found its place in the story. The story flashbacks to the times of discomfort of Oliver side by side the present universe, and this is where the element of 'surprise' comes into play. The flow of the show is interesting part, never let you down and never you feel like making a move to scroll the show timeline.
Now the thought of 'Hey he sounds, acts, disappear like a Batman', is questionable as the similarity includes a number of list. Batman and Arrow both are vigilantes, both were born with a platinum spoon, both have a master and mentor, both fight to clean up the city ( here is the Starling city!), both have a legacy which they must continue in order to honor the family name and that with a power of ambition, leaning, teaching the body and mind to be self aware of the fact that they have nobody to hold their back.
And here are the interesting facts as to why they are yet divergent.Arrow is a kind of superhero who eats the giant fish of the pond, and Batman has his own way of trail and catch theory. Arrow believes that Justice if not served by the law and the cops to the guilty, then he holds the bar, but Bruce never kills anyone, neither Joker. And that is because the scars and wounds cut deeper than a bullet. Bow and Arrows are weapons of a shadow, while Batpod is a open conflict.Oliver Queen is more like deer hunter, hunting deer is the only aim. Batman is like the orchestra of knights, beating the rhythm out of troublemakers.
The characters follow a trail, leading to fire-crackers at the top. Fumbled by grief, the detective is a one of the highlighted character and the idea of him being a nutcracker and overly enthusiastic and annoying adds some sort of maniac flavor the show (About 10% of Joker of Gotham).Family ties and from the prodigal son now to the daughter-mother-brother issues have been touched, that has been the realistic part.
Why to watch it? Well , the foremost thing is you can imagine yourself being a vigilante with an Arrow. To imagine yourself as Superman may be possible with a Red Cape, but still the idea is not logically possible ( Human Strength, fire resistant, laser eyes) but yeah one can take an aim and shoot, but it need some blades, the five year training, and an ambition with a belief to do something good.Secondly, the relationships of superheros are barely touched, their glory, their actions form the picture of the hour but here, the idea of personal life and a hooded guy at night with green makeup near his eyes, is something unique. The coldness and responsiveness of the character is appealing which the viewers want, and there is something in the end. That is, The Flash!.
