Top 5 reasons why HARRY POTTER should have been a TV series.

We all love Harry Potter movies. Some of us have seen them numerous times and many have read the books multiple times. Those who dived into this universe never wanted to come out. As heartbreaking and latching the Story on the big screen and the books was, here are the reasons Harry Potter should have been a TV series.

5. More Characters, therefore more story. (Peeves, Dobby, Winky, Charlie Weasley)

Peeves the Poltergeist is one of the famous character in the book. He is funny, sarcastic, mischievous and he is a ghost.  Alas! Movies never bothered to put this humorous angle in the movies. Dobby was only in just 2 movies, the one he was introduced in and the one where you know what happened. Originally, he was in every book after Chamber of Secrets. Being a TV show, many characters had the chance to develop on the screens and the hearts of Harry Potter fans.

4. More Harry and Ginny.

We know it was hinted all along from the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, when Ginny used to shy away from Harry, but the correct character development was impossible in already stuffed movie which had so much to do in 2 hours. Make it a TV series and you have all those gaps to fill in and plenty of time to really root for this couple.

3. More Voldemort's back story.

If you have read the Harry Potter 6 (The Half Blood Prince) then you know, that half of the book was all TOM RIDDLE. The book covers all the murders and complexities in his character but movies wrapped all this up in just two scenes in the movie. These scenes are very important but Movies didn't have time to put this in the movie. Explaining the ring, "It was his mother's'  is outrageously unimpressive and tells nothing about his relationship with his parents. Not everybody read books, but TV is trending and popular and has reached masses. 

2. More Dursley Family.

We hated them, yeah, we wanted them killed before Voldemort, yeah, but they were the only family he had. Only the first movie was serious enough to show full Dursley wrath, how harry is ignored all his life, how he has to wear Dudley's old cloths, how he should act as is he doesn't exist in the house. There were always 2-3 chapters in the books solely based on Dursleys, before Harry left for his real home, Hogwarts. TV can make this real and contemporary. We hate Dursleys but we would hate them more if we saw them more, (Game of Thrones Fans would agree with me).

1. 7 Books, 8 Movies, 1 Play, 3 Spin-offs and 7 TV Series.

Everything about the idea of the TV show is perfect. Even though the movies are out, it didn't stop readers to get their hands on the books and vice versa. Everyone would still watch TV series(series not seasons, because its British). HBO, BBC are the ones that we eye for. J.K. Rowling keeps hinting it in his active twitter account.
