BIRDMAN : Why you did not like and why its beyond singular minds. (Spoilers)

I would be true to all. This movie requires attention. You have to have your mind open and your neurons firing to really grasp the entirety of the spectacular work and the best piece of art ever performed on the big screen.

From the first opening scene and frame to its last, this movie had me wondering, how could they pull this off? It was all made to look like a one single continuous shot. If that doesn't amazes you then you should go and prefer Michael Bay movies. Because you my friend are a potato.

If you have seen this movie and you did not understand the things to really appreciate it then you have come to right place.

This movie is fulfillment of hopes and dreams of modern film making. Its a big magnifying glass over the movie business now a days and shows that you don't have to be a good actor in a blockbuster and if you are in a successful blockbuster, doesn't mean you are a good actor. There were references to the pop culture that makes it feel more real, apart from its amazing cinematography by Emmanuel Lubezki.

This movie was about everything from life lessons, where you stand in life, why you want to do and how, how the life becomes difficult with the age, how a man with a potential loses his abilities and descends in the insults and ignorance from his family. The ignored daughter who wants attention. There was no character in the movie I did not like. Michael Keaton delivered his life's best performance yet and very deeply portrayed the intensity and psychological issues of a once-were artist. A man who has all the hurdles on his path to makes his one and only chance (play) to prove his worth.

Then enters Edward Nortan's character who from the beginning just wants to dominate the play. He portrayed the character beautifully. Naomi watts was great and so was Zack Galifianakis.

If the people did not appreciate this, then they clearly lack the moral depth need some introspection for life. You like movies or not, this piece art had offered something to everyone who watched it.

There were scenes which made me think that, Okay! this is the end. No, this is the end, but the movie kept on going and went into totally different direction.

(Spoilers Ahead)

When our Birdman shoots himself on the ongoing play and the scene cuts.

Then the next scene you see is the hospital, now there are cuts in the scenes. Everything is resolved. The one critic who swore to review his play bad, made a good review and saved his play and image.

But, there are cuts in the scene. Emma Stone's character ( Sam Thomson) enters, greets his dad and leaves the room. Rigg gets up from his bed, unties his bandages and sees his new face with a nose of the Birdman, he goes to his window and? Sam sees him? Flying? what happened?

---

This is what happened.

Rigg Thomson shot himself. He died but the neurons in a brain keeps firing and working for around 7.5 minutes, which our next ending scene is almost about.

The whole movie was uncut singular shot, which was actually the Birdman, Rigg's alter ego walking around. We see the movie from Birdman's eyes. When Rigg pulled the trigger, he actually died and the Birdman died with him. The brain kept thinking which made all the scenario in to a well stitched positive ending play, where Rigg doesn't die, he has his play reviewed good, his daughter finally loves him, his wife is sitting next to him in the hospital room, caring.

He is Birdman with no mask and everybody knows it and his daughter is the one who realizes it first, the potential of  a father who is free, successful and who can fly.

Now go watch the movie again.
